It is now possible to make, cancel and check appointments on line.  It is also possible to request repeat medication on line (as well as via the website).  Please come to the surgery to register for this service.

Patients, we welcome your input to help us develop surveys, services, local  priorities and take action.

Maylands Patient Group 

In January 2011 the surgery set up a patient group.  The aim of the group is to provide a forum for our patients to discuss health promotion and local voluntary and social activities.  For more information, please see Items on the right of this screen, or contact Ruth Thacker, Assistant Manager.

Practice Management

Imran Mir (m)
Imran is our Practice Manager. The practice manager works full time and is responsible for the day to day management of staff and smooth running of the practice. He is able to help you with any queries, comments or complaints you may have about the practice.
Ruth Thacker (f)

Ruth is our Assistant Manager. She works closely with Imran, and will be able to help if Imran isn't available. She works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Administration

We have full time secretarial support who deal with all the secretarial work of the practice. We also have part time Registrations, Filing and Screening Clerks.

Reception

Jan Bush (f)

Jan is the Reception Manager and she ensures the smooth running of the reception team.  Jan works closely with the management team.

We have 16 part time receptionists who are the first members of the practice team that you will meet. Their function is to guide you through the practice and to arrange appointments. They often have a difficult job to do and may sometimes need to ask questions about the nature of your illness to assist the doctor in the smooth running of the surgery. Please treat them with respect.
